22nd Annual Conference of the National Association of the
State Highway and Transportation Unions
Please Join us for the 22nd Annual NASHTU Conference!
.May 16-18, 2022, Washington, D.C.

Senator Tom Carper (D-DE) addresses the 20th Annual NASHTU Conference.
The National Association of State Highway and Transportation Unions (NASHTU) is a respected, national voice dedicated to advancing the interests of transportation department workers throughout the country.
The annual NASHTU Conference provides an important opportunity for transportation unions to come together and strategize how to best serve our members and deliver safe, cost-effective transportation projects for taxpayers. After a COVID-induced two-year hiatus, we are thrilled to announce the 2022 NASHTU Conference will be held May 16-18, 2022 at the Hyatt Regency Washington Hotel in Washington, D.C.
NASHTU has become an important voice in Washington D.C. speaking on behalf of public sector transportation unions and workers. We have won important legislative victories by working together to stop wasteful outsourcing mandates and incentives in the federal transportation authorization and other transportation-related legislation. NASHTU was actively engaged at every step of the development of the recently approved $1.2 trillion infrastructure package. We are pleased to report that outsourcing mandates and incentives were kept out of the bill.
The NASHTU Conference also provides important access to transportation leaders and key Members of Congress. Past conferences included the congressional leaders of both Senate and House committees with jurisdiction over transportation and infrastructure and key transportation and labor officials from AASHTO, Transportation Trades Department, AFL-CIO, FHWA, Center for American Progress, American Highway Users Alliance, Economic Policy Institute, and many other transportation stakeholder organizations.
